_We Are X_ is the documentary of seminal Japanese metal band alternatively known as X or X Japan. This film was a revelation for me as I'd never heard of the group before. The passion they exude in their music and the reaction of their fans is so intense it literally brought tears to my eyes. If they'd spent more time taking about the whole band and their music and not focused so much in the very beautiful and talented leader Yoshiki, I might've enjoyed this one a tad more.

Weak sauce. The music is bad melodrama, as is the documentary. The whole tale of X Japan just feels so fabricated to me. Meh.
