Overview
Ten years ago, over forty people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy. But when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Andrew must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past.

Ranking Best to worst 1: Hatchet III 2: Victor Crowley 3: Hatchet II 4: Hatchet
**A dull watch with some okay moments.**
Perhaps director Adam Green is the problem, but after the third movie in the “Hatchet” franchise was my favorite so far, “Victor Crowley” is the absolute low point. Terrible gags, awful characters, and far too many lengths—I really don't have much positive to say. Of course, the gore is the best thing to mention, but even that can't keep up with its predecessors. It is therefore a thoroughly disappointing entry in the franchise.
Worse than the other parts after 7min quit and it was a good feeling :). Wtf is that horror or comedy cheap shit and the actors so bad xD
Begins well, and despite being a horror, it takes a decent turn into intentional comedy. But the film never does enough to truly stand out, and if this is supposed to be a reboot of an already lame franchise, it doesn'#39;t really succeed. Oh, and it ends abruptly, as if somebody had taken a hatchet to the script.
None of these installments every quite lives up to the fun of the first film, but it'#39;s a decent installment to the franchise. Glad to have the series kickstarted up again.

Victor Crowley lives! Wasn't the best in the franchise but a welcome one. Some great kills and gore yet again. Crowley really believes he can open anything with a belt sander doesn't he? Favorite to least favorite: 1. Hatchet 2. Hatchet III 3. Victor Crowley 4. Hatchet II
