Tyler joins his friend on a trip to the Catskills for a weekend birthday party with several people he doesn’t know. As soon as they get there, it’s clear that (1) he’s the only black guy, and (2) it’s going to be a weekend of heavy drinking. Although Tyler is welcomed, he can’t help but feel uneasy in “Whitesville.” The combination of all the testosterone and alcohol starts to get out of hand, and Tyler’s precarious situation starts to feel like a nightmare.

Good lil indie movie. About preassure, fear, differences between races. I emphasized with Tyrel. The whole vibe was so strange could not really undestood if they hate him or not. Maybe Tyrel was way too scared. I dunno i am confused.

Subtle character drama that speaks to the outsider in all of us. Of course, as within this film, it is often our paranoia that makes us feel as if we are living on the fringes. Pretty good film, though not as compelling as the director's earlier films, Nasty Baby and Magic Magic.

Sixty minutes too long. The film is a poor attempt at making a sociopolitical statement whilst trying not to come across as offensive. There is no plot, everything is entirely non-committal, and I am therefore still as uncertain about the true intentions of this film as Tyler was about the guys. I wish it was "just a dream" and I didn't waste my time watching it.
