I see this movie on Netflix and have got it in my normal rotation (along with others I like). I thought that the pairing of Hugh Grant and Sandra Bullock worked very well. I did not enjoy this movie for it'#39;s social significance, that'#39;s not what I watch movies for. If you enjoy adult humor and can appreciate the nuances then you will find this quite enjoyable. It is Sandra Bullock and Hugh Grant at their best. Some of my favorite scenes include the one where Sandra Bullock has eaten too much and has to go to the bathroom while they are stuck on a bridge in New York City. Adding the music '#34;Taking Care Of Business'#34; was really a stroke of genius. The '#34;Bobcat Pretzel'#34; scene was equally funny. The interjection of the appropriate music adds much to the results and norah Jones cameo I loved.

Nah, I’m sorry, but George really ruined it at the end. The fact that he was supposedly gobsmacked by Lucy in that dress and then broke her heart with a major betrayal, only for him to hook up with June immediately afterwards showed me he never actualy cared about her, about her feelings, or about her respect. He did not actually love her. If he did, he would have been devasted about him having potentionally lost her and about hurting her, but he couldn’t have cared less. That’s just not a man in love. Lucy ending up with this dude after all that is honestly such a joke.

Entertaining to see. A movie where there are so many of them, of course, before you start watching you already know how it will end. But it looked away quickly and is certainly not the worst....

Entertaining. It is not spectacular, but it has its charm.

The lead characters are good and have good chemistry, but the plot is thin and the character development is poor. There's no real stakes and it's melodramatic. There's also little to no change in the Hugh Grant's character that Sandra Bullock's character should have found attractive. Watch if you're bored or home sick, but don't expect much.

I loved this movie!! So funny , the writing was great. And Sandra is amazing in this. LOVE LOVE LOVE

Is this movie a gem in the rom com universe? No, not anywhere near that. If you watch this movie, it is to see the infinitely-likable stars be very likable. In that context, the movie is *good enough*. follow me at https://IHATEBadMovies.com or facebook IHATEBadMovies

'gt;"When I say I'm poor, I mean we may have to share a helicopter with another family." It's simple: I see Sandra Bullock, I watch. I see Hugh Grant, I get ready for romance. Shame that is is predictable, but they make up for it with the good chemistry and fun bickering.

I can'#39;t say how many times I'#39;ve seen this film. I laugh before the jokes and I know it is regular chick-flick but I like it.

The strong humour makes up for the ultra-thin premise. Hugh Grant (George) and Sandra Bullock (Lucy) are excellent together, they share solid chemistry. I like Grant'#39;s performance the most, bringing a likeable but flawed vibe to his character. Bullock is good in her role, too. It probably is a forgettable film, but I do enjoy the humour. It keeps things pacing well, at least until the third act where the plot kinda ends with a whimper. Nothing else standouts, especially the supporting cast. They could'#39;ve/should'#39;ve shaved twenty minutes or so off the run time to keep it fresher, but all in all I'#39;d deem '#39;Two Weeks Notice'#39; as one that'#39;s worth viewing.

Unfortunately this movie made me fall asleep. It was funny but at the same time boring so it'#39;s somehow just a … watch it on a boring rainy day movie…
