Feels like a made for TV movie at times and the acting and dialogue are terrible. Story's bad too. The whole "omg the killer killed a cop, he must be the devil" storyline going on with Det. Mike was so dumb, made me wonder if the writer was a cop himself.

Despite all that it's still a decent slasher; a whole lot of kills and some good ones too, entertaining, thrilling, has Halloween vibes, lots of action and the killer is very present throughout the movie. It's just whenever someone talks or the acting is in your face, you're reminded that it's far from perfect. I'm mixed on the killer, sometimes he works and sometimes he doesn't. I was kinda sad they didn't keep the pumpkin mask on him. Cool knife though. The twist(s) was ridiculous but kinda fits with the ridiculousness of the entire movie. Turn your brain off and you might get a few tricks out of this one.
