Since this is coming up I thought I'd leave a comment about this. To be honest I wasn't sure where to place this rating wise but I generally enjoyed this - despite it's millennial VS boomer theme not _really_ working out so well (which I didn't know about having only read the title and seen some stills). It's not a scary movie by any means even if they like to juxtapose the genre elements in the cuts; the primary angle is the comedy which is also why it can get away with being so messy imho.

It tries to coast by on its weirdness and sassy lead, but this is still predictable and dull. You have seen better.

As a Xennial I have no stake in this conflict, and while I'm against the culture wars distractions from the class war, I was highly entertained by both the millennials and the boomers getting their feels and more hurtsified.

Pretty decent dark comedy/horror featuring an outrageous performance by Robert Patrick in probably one of his better roles in a long while and Amanda Crew holds her own at times quite well. I know that the things that suck about _Tone-Deaf_ are **the point** of _Tone-Deaf_, but I don't know if that makes them any more acceptable.
