Up and coming young lawyer Anthony Lawrence faces several ethical and emotional dilemmas as he climbs the Philadelphia social ladder. A classic in court movies. A case that seemed lost before it began takes a turn due to the thorough examination of the facts by Paul Newman’s character. This Agatha Christie-like plot is still just good entertainment.
