It gets a lil boring so i was playing games on my phone while watching it XD It's average but the ending just didn't make ANY sense to me.
The whole town knew she's lost her mind, she killed her husband and no consequences after that? Like whattttttt???
Did i miss out something coz i was too busy playing games? LOL oh well, i would say it's a decent show if you're desperate for horror shows like i am.

A very average psychological horror drama that's somehow both convoluted and predictable. Though technically outstanding and containing some really good performances, as a whole it just doesn't grab me the way that I hoped it would. It feels way longer than it actually is, also tries to fit so many things into a single film and is a little reliant on loud noises for the jump scares. But if it wasn't for that I would have been falling asleep. Overall, it's an okay watch.

Visually very good but as another commenter has suggested, the story fails to deliver. The setup is undermined by a conclusion that is not too dissimilar from what we have seen before. Disappointing as this could have been a decent creepfest with a better script and less reliance on genre tropes.

The storyline needed adding to and started to lose my interest in the first hour or so but if they’d managed to add that something extra, then the build up to the good finale would have made it so much better. Open/mid - 5/10. Final - 8/10.

The visuals, the sound and the acting are all top tier but unfortunately the story fails to deliver something new. It's filled with horror tropes and so predictable. The final act was borderline ridiculous.

This stupid movie sucks a giant butt.
I'm generally sick out of my fucking ass of horror movies centered on motherhood as well as movies that are just lazy metaphors for mental illness, so when I come across one that combines both horrid tropes I can feel the life force fleeing my body. Please, dudes with cameras, I'm begging you to think of different stories because this one is so fucking tired.
Was she pregnant in real life when she filmed this movie? All the baggy/loose clothes she wears throughout the whole movie, look so weird on her. Movie sucks also.

honestly, this is passably good for the acting alone. it really holds the story together despite a lot of weakness. while teresa palmer praised the twist in an interview i read, it's been done before; variations on this trope have already explored it really well and this movie didn't really add anything new. it is stunning in its visuals and the red herrings work to some extent, but it does come up short. solid b horror!
