Fun movie, only Hollywood could include an exploding carriage in a story set in 1625. It's fast-paced overall and Tim Curry and Kiefer Sutherland are great, I'm not the biggest fan of Oliver Platt, though. Not a criticism but I saw there is a French adaptation from the same writers as Le Comte de Monte-Cristo and I'm very hyped to watch an adaptation closer to the book that, I assume, is less fun but tells a more interesting story.

There’s far worse versions, like when Paul W.S. Anderson decided to make one. Kiefer Sutherland and Tim Curry steal the show. Charlie Sheen got top billing for some reason.

I've always enjoyed this version since I initially watched it back when it came out. My favorite was always Oliver Platt, and then Chris O'Donnell, the funniest characters. Great cast with the aforementioned (whom were unknown to me before this was released) as well as Kiefer, Charlie, Tim, Gabriel, and Rebecca. I have fond memories of first seeing Rebecca when I was young with getting to see her breasts in _"And God Created Women"_ lol (so getting to see her and her cleavage when I first watched this, nice) and later on seeing her movie _"The Hand That Rocks The Cradle"_. So when I first had seen this, I knew who she was! Lol This was a pretty big movie at the time with having such a good cast, and even getting Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart, and Sting to do the song _"All For One"_ another brilliant choice, the song became a hit! For me, I say that it's done in similar fashion as the _"Robin Hood: Prince Of Thieves" (1991)_ movie with Kevin Costner. Great cast in that as well, with another hit song by Bryan Adams.

Ok, first things first - this has nothing at all to do the Dumas' book. We ought to be clear on that before we continue through this Disneyfied interpretation of this classic story. A way too handsome Chris O'Donnell is "D'Artagnan" who arrives in Paris determined to follow in his father's footsteps More

They say a hero is only as good as the villain. If, by the same token, a villain is only as bad as the hero, then The Three Musketeers has, proportionately speaking, the best villains of any movie. Tim Curry and the diabolical Michael Wincott are inspired choices for Cardinal Richelieu and the Count More

What's more overdone? The gratuitous cleavage shots or the catchphrase?

I did enjoy 'The Three Musketeers' - but boy is there a load of cleavage shoved in your face. The famous Musketeer phrase is also said a lot.

This film is a little bit of a weird one, in terms of how I feel abo More
