The horror movie version of Home Alone. A fun adventure with some gory moments - I can't help but think it would be much stronger and darker if it were made today. As it is, the psychopaths over-acting makes them more comical than terrifying.

Fun movie. Never seen it, one of the hosts on Action Boyz always talks about it, I finally checked it out. For a horror film, it's funny how much gun action is in it. In an action movie, for sure, but for a spooky house movie I was surprised how much gunnin was going on. No complaints, just surprised.

Unpopular opinion: Wes Craven is the Halloween decorations at Hot Topic version of horror, while Rob Zombie is waking up with a stranger in your bed and a termite in your ear horror. With the single exception of Scream, every movie Wes Craven made was bad (yes, including Nightmare on Elm Street) and he remains the kind of horror for people who didn't like to be afraid. That said, I'm awarding this film a bonus half-star for the inclusion of a young black man as a hero, the portrayal of the ghetto as a prison run by rich inbred YTs, and the hints of interracial puppy love between the two children. Apparently Craven is a better human being than he is a director.

The plot follows a boy and two adult thieves who, after breaking in to steal a collection of rare coins, become trapped in a house belonging to a strange couple. These thieves are so inept they leave their van parked next to the house, in full view of a couple of policemen who are even more inept; � More
