I am a big fan of tv sitcom The Middle, so was keen to see what Eden Sher did next. Her character is very similar to Sue Heck from the aforementioned show, but that wasn't a problem. The film on the other hand was a tad predictable. A couple of genuine laugh out loud moments, but there is nothing new to see here. Still, for the target audience, this will possibly rank higher.

Familiar actresses drew me to it, all my favourite cultural touchstones kept me watching. It may not be the best movie, but if you like Tina Fey, Veronica Mars and Star Wars, at least you get a shout-out!

Pretty good watch, would watch again, and can recommend.

This is really you're basic "coming of age", "high school clique war" movie. What makes it stand out is the cast. I just happen to recognize them from several different things, but they're clearly acting over their weight class in this mo More
