Kubo, who lives in the apartment next door, keeps a watchful eye on her. Kubo is a writer who lost his pregnant wife in a traffic accident, so he has an unusual interest in pregnant women and is strongly drawn to Mami. Her husband, Murakami, has abandoned his family and is running away with his lover. And so is something between Mami and Kubo...
