The Liberator

First, the film manages to convey that sense of showmanship and excitement of the big Hollywood films, and tells the story of the "Liberator" of Venezuela and four other countries in a way that had never seen. On the other hand, tells his story in a hurry, only focuses on the image of hero and virtues of Bolivar, gives a picture of socialist and revolutionary too inspired by the ideas of the twentieth and twenty-first century, completely ignores his faults as a man or political, and finally fully supports the theory of conspiracy in his death (which documents and scientific evidence does not support). Practically the only thing good about it is that its bad researched story is told Hollywood quality. -------------- En primer término, la película logra transmitirnos esa sensacion de espectacularidad y emocion de las grandes peliculas de Hollywood, y cuenta la historia del "Libertador" de Venezuela y otros 4 paises de una forma que jamas habia visto. Por el otro lado, cuenta su historia con apuro, solo se concentra en la imagen de heroe y virtudes de Bolivar, le da una imagen de socialista y revolucionario demasiado inspirado en las ideas del siglo XX y XXI, ignora por completo sus defectos como hombre o politico, y al final apoya por completo la teoria de conspiracion en su muerte (algo que los documentos y las pruebas cientificas no apoyan). En resumen, es una mala adaptacion de la realidad, una historia que busca glorificar a un hombre, y no a contar su historia (practicamente ignorando todo lo malo que hizo), criminaliza a todo el que se "atreviese" a criticar al "perfecto Bolivar". Practicamente lo unico bueno que tiene es que su historia mal investigada es contada con calidad de Hollywood.
