On a farm owned by Eve Trent and her sister Mary, young archaeologist Angus Flint discovers a large and inexplicable skull, which he soon deduces belonged to the D'Ampton Worm, a mythical beast supposedly slain generations ago by the ancestor of the current Lord D'Ampton. The predatory Lady Sylvia Marsh soon takes an interest in both Flint and the virginal Eve, hinting that the vicious D'Ampton Worm may still live.

Like puberty: silly, awkward, and fun. Ken Russell brings his high school symbolism and adolescent extravagance to a Brahm Stoker novel about an ancient religion that resurfaces somewhere in rural England. Apart from early roles by a young Hugh Grant and Peter Capaldi, the most interesting thing about the movie is trying to determine if the film is an intentional comedy, as Prime Video claims, or merely poorly aged kitsch.

Sorry. I was told by some people that this one of those movies that is so bad that it becomes good again. I certainly can somehow see why some people think this, but I do not. I just see it as a bad movie with terrible dialogues, terrible acting (Hugh Grant not Included), an idiotic story and more than terrible special effects. In summary, it is crap.
