One of the best korean movies of this year, really enjoyable! This could've been a typical comedy but Hong Seungwan really pull this off! My score: 8.5/10

A new favorite! You've got your typical - and beloved - _jurors acting as investigators_ trope, but then this movie goes further and throws unexpected twists at you that make both you and the jurors doubt their presumptions. Park Hyung-sik is brilliant as the eighth juror and honestly, I loved seeing all eight jurors play their parts; the way they were actually able to influence each other's opinions was a beautiful thing to see in this age of people shouting at each other on social media without actually listening to one another. Overall though, this is just a really fun movie to watch - I highly recommend it to people who enjoy legal dramas, trials, and detective stuff in general.

Could've done without the "comedic" tone. The case is beyond retarded and the police didn't do even the slightest bit of investigation. Judging by this and all the kdrama I've seen, the Korean police force is absolute crap.
