I haven't seen this yet. But can I say, just please stop remaking good Japanese horror movies? Why do Americans think that they can remake a classic japanese horror movie and actually make it better? NO. This has never happened. Even the movie poster sucks. geez

@mg_grey What makes you believe that Americans think that they can remake a classic japanese horror movie and actually make it better? Who says they even pretend to do so? What they actually think is that they can make more money out of them, and like it or not, they just do it in most cases

Not superb, but a good film from my point of view, much better than the average of so many horror movies done lately

@mg_grey why do people constantly complain about remakes? the studios do it because it costs a lot of money to make a movie and they don't like losing money. I don't like it either but it's not about what you or I like, it's about what makes money. Complaining about it is just noise. Next up, Batman reboot 346.

@mg_grey yes i am agree with you that the movie poster sucks because it reflects the lack of ideas in comparison with the whole poor movie! the poster only depict a scene of the first _The Grudge_ of 2004, more specifically the shower scene with Sarah Michelle Gellar washing her head.

@1-gooth4w because remakes are 90% always worse, that's why I complain. They should just let the original be, and make a new horror flick to earn their money. They only destroy what is already good. Just sayin.

@steev1st I know that, you don't have to be a smarty pants. First Grudge movie is actually a Japanese flick from 2002. I hated it most because they showed the creepiest part of the movie, when they could've held unto it and surprise people who haven't seen the original one. That's just my opinion

@mg_grey this film is literally not even a remake. it's an original sequel not directly based on any of the japanese films.
