I was so hyped-up about this movie to the point of getting scared it will never live up to the hype. It did. This movie was awesome in so many levels. Two highly accomplished loners get together under extraordinary circumstances. If that isn’t enough, they then proceed to carry out a mission that is all kinds of awesome packed into 2 hours of high octane thrills. Shut up and take my 10/10 rating. :ok_hand_tone2:

Trash. This movie was BAD. Ridiculous, predictable, and cheesy. With the 2-3 main actors they had, you'd be confident in a decent movie.... it wasn't. If there was ever a one and done movie- this is it. There's no reason to ever watch this movie again, unless you're really interested in delving into the endless plot holes. What a letdown.

For the first 20 minutes, all I could think about was how it came out a few months back that Netflix was telling writers to dumb things down for viewers so that they can keep up with what's going on while still using their phones. The dialogue was atrocious. Fortunately, once we got settled in at the Gorge, there was less dialogue, and I actually had a lot of fun while the two leads communicating with eachother from a distance. I must say, Anya's accent here is terrible. It was pretty jarring when she and the guy playing her father both said 'Moscow' one after the other. The action was fine, I mostly had a decent time once things got going, but in the end, this is a movie I'll have forgotten about in a week from now.

So why exactly are they sending 2 outside soldiers there to guard it for a year at a time and killing them? I mean, once it is discovered that they went down into the gorge the company comes in with their own soldiers who seem to be fully informed about what's going on, so why not use them as guards then???

Good idea, terrible execution filled with plot holes.
I think the movie would have worked phenomenally if it was set in the 1950s. The modern era just introduces so many problems it's laughable how they didn't think of it.
