Disgusting amounts of racism. The entire movie portrays white people as killers, Nazis, and politicians. And black people as '#39;the saviour'#39;s of the community'#39; and a gross romanticsised view of gangs. Pay attention, you won'#39;t see one white person portrayed as helping the community, and you won'#39;t see one black person working with the government. I also was disappointed at the amount of gorr or scare. I have seen a lot of shit, and this movie'#39;s darkest moments were absolutely basic and boring. An entire island can do anything they want, they wouldn'#39;t be nice. Society is far more degraded than this movie portrays, which disappointed me. I was expecting to see some realism, but experienced none of it.

Another year, another Purge movie, another missed opportunity. In short, this, like every other Purge movie before it, lacks in violence 'amp; gore, has cheap visual effects and has a stupid, poorly written script. The script is basically the same as all other Purge movies and completely fails to entice the audience. It misses all opportunity to go all-out on the violence, lacks character development and just follows it’s cookie cutter format: [spoiler]people that shouldn’t be out on purge night are and need to be saved.[/spoiler] It tries to convey a social message but does it so clumsily that it fails it in that miserably too. Seriously, this franchise either needs to ramp up and decide it wants to be a hardcore gore/horror movie (for which it’s premise should be perfectly suited, but let’s be honest; it won’t do that because it won’t attract the general public) or get purged from cinemas itself.

It'#39;s got action, violence and the usual story line. Just a shame they don'#39;t make it an 18 rating and make it really gory!

I just watched this, and I didnt had any expectations. But I must say I liked it, then I could have wanted more gore. But it's ALOT of killing haha!

Definately the lesser of all Purge movies for the simple reason it'#39;s a wee bit one-sided in it'#39;s political statement. Don'#39;t really care that the hero of the movie is a drug kingpin but it does appear that the bad guys are all white people and usually of the racist type. Even the hero at one point says something in the vain of '#34;let'#39;s show these white-head mofo'#39;s...'#34; half an hour-ish before he chokes a blue-eyed, very blonde aryan-type kinda guy. Previous movies left it all a bit more in the middle, even the series has good people of all races. They should have kept it Government VS People and not a veiled race-war. Cause let'#39;s face it... It'#39;s the people in charge we should purge not our fellow man on the street. Then again... it'#39;s easier targeting those below us I guess. Regardless of the duality one can find in this movie there should have been a little bit more regardless if it sells better this way.

This movie brings a lot of question in my mind. 1. The story plot is not balance. A. Focus on black people only. No offence but I love them. B. Where are the other ethnicity neighborhood? C. White people as enemy and politicians. 2. Why are the drug dealers become the heroes of the movie? I guess this is just the start of the movie Purge. I watched all the movies this week and this one, the latest kind lost its hype for me. I still liked the actors and actress. Dang, Nya your beautiful. Anyways, murder ain'#39;t solve our problem but love and unity. Peace all. Shalom.

Politically and racially motivated in a poor way to reflect the times. The film also wants you to side with a drug dealer; nope. A letdown for Purge fans.

Good premise for a 4th/1st movie in a franchise didn'#39;t execute the best but had good action some jump scares although they weren'#39;t really scary and one comedic character pretty much on the same level as the other purge movies

The white supremacists are real mad about this one. They must not have watched the last two movies, where the NFAA and racists were also working together. And they missed the entire point of these movies. Another great addition to the franchise. 7/10.
