I actually had not planned on watching this movie, it was just beginning as i turned the TV on but i decided to see the start..three hours later and i could feel that time had gone. It definitely felt like a play to movie adaption (which i found out after). My one thought is how thankful i feel for my current life after watching this. I know one can comment on how human they felt even when huddled and hiding, how relatable even in a dire situation each, especially Anne was but especially towards the end as the suspense grew, all i felt was grateful. You go into the movie knowing everyone's fate already but it doesn't stop you from jumping and wanting to squeeze each time a siren rings or a door creaks in the night. Good classic film if you have the time to commit to watching it.

This quote at the end stood out as i am sure it will for others watching.
"I know it's terrible trying to have any faith when people are doing such horrible... But you know what I sometimes think? I think the world may be going through a phase, the way I was with mother.
