This one - his first film for MGM - is often considered Buster Keaton's last great work and indeed it is up there - or maybe just a slight smidge below - the likes of *The Genreal* and *Our Hospitality*, once more showcasing his boundless imagination and spot-on intuition for pure visual comedy before his creativity would be rapidly crushed by the restraints imposed on him and disastrous decisions made by the major studio system.

Buster Keaton’s first feature as an MGM player is often cited as a sort of departure point for his career.
