If you're into Reality TV, this is about as close as you can get ... This is one of those movies that "you can't un-see once you've seen it", but I think it's good in the sense that it helps to keep your own life in perspective, and to help be aware of the struggles many others go through in life, that often get overlooked, or uncared about.

Death is hard to watch and so too is The Bridge. But it's success is its understated narrative and lack of a clear message (even when there should be one, i.e. put suicide barriers up). Ultimately, you will probably have some of your assumptions about death and what is permissible to record.

Heartbreaking, a real emotional whirlwind that, from the outset, causes a feeling of sadness when the first images and reports appear. The subject is extremely delicate, heavy, and the documentary presents explicit accounts and images that go far beyond shocking or generating controversy. Everything here brings a sense of frustration and melancholy, always accompanied by the question "what if?". How could things be different? It really hurts the soul. Everything is very heavy, disturbing and uncomfortable, provoking very deep reflection.
