This film is not good. It's surprisingly gory and sleazy for an early 60s horror but it's utterly forgettable and sadly boring. It's just as awful as its title. It's pretty short but drags a lot. Like it's about a surgeon hunting for a beautiful body in various location to then attach the body to his wife's severed head and he spends way too much time on that, it almost fill the entire runtime. There's some unintentional comedy but I just couldn't make myself laugh as I almost completely lost interest. The final act was quite good but too long to get there. Not recommended.

This is really very good. A body horror classic. Not bad at all.

It's easy to see why this movie is a classic, but that's not the same as being a great movie that holds up years later.
One only needs to think about this in context to understand how shocking it must have been during its time: remember this predates _Blood Feast_, and _Night of the Living Dead_. W More
