It's not easy to opinate about this documentary. On one hand it's excellent. On the other it's quite poor. I DO strongly recommend to watch this movie to EVERYBODY who finds it (It's on Mexican Netflix). Let's start for the bad:...the cinematography aspects, actually. I can imagine, for what I see, that the production was expensive. Done in a long amount of time, the audio and photography are clear and that's already to be thenakful if you consider it took years to achieve. I want to congratulate everybody involved because they're incredibly ambitous and achieve a wonderful documentary. But I said this was about the bad so: actually the cinematrogaphical aspects here are quite bad. The photography it's not nicely done and it was obviously done with cheap equipment. Who can blame this? But also it's needed to say it. The music, god, the music iit's awful. Fortunately it's used little. Again, budget, right? The narration voice...it's not bad, but it's very Television like. I feel what this movi creates it's far from the television ambitions. It's cinama, but nothing on it looks that way: cheap photography, cheap narration voice, cheap music. But continuing with the good parts: WHAT DOES IT MATTER? Obviously it was a very ambitious production, and I think it achieves the most ambitous parts of the production, that is: tellling a message and informing. and it's VERY INFORMATIVE. I wish this documentary was played opn every sigle school on Mexico, Centro America and USA (yeah, sure). This is a documentary that goes beyond their very obvious cinematographical flaws and lack of budget and becomes very relevant. This movie might not be good as a cinematic piece itself, but it's a excellent and amazing piece in what documentaries are. This is a wonderful piece of documented film. This movie it's fucking necessary. Was necessary when it started, was necessary in 2010, was necessary when the fucking orange shit won, and it's necessary on 2017. This fucking movie deserves much more watches. So many more.
