I would have liked to have given this an 8, but something just didn’t sit right for me. I found the film creepy scary, rather than normal horror scary, if that made any sense. I suppose it made me uneasy in a bad way. I had a quick read on Google and it’s based on a true story, but they’ve chosen to change things in a peculiar way. It’s still a decent horror film to watch.

I really loved the supernatural elements to this movie, but all of the weird drama really ruined the whole thing for me. They tried to do basically 3 different stories but they couldn’t spend enough time on any of them to make it worthwhile. It was just a jumbled up mess that left the majority of the movie pretty boring.

Quite disappointing really. I like haunted house movies, especially those that are set in previous time periods, but this one underwhelmed. As such, i have banished it from my watchlist so it never haunts my tv screen again.

Could potentially lead to something better than this. I don'#39;t like how dull it was. It has cool ideas but don'#39;t know how to put them together. I know it set in 1930s but the Nazi thing felt unnecessary as it has nothing to do with the plot, just create more confusion. So yeah, it'#39;s just another generic haunted house film. On the bright side, you won'#39;t get any cheap jumpscares. I love the production, creepy atmosphere, great visual with some cool imagery, and Jessica Brown'#39;s strong performance!
