Well acted and a creepy atmosphere. The sound editing is good and the soundtrack is fine. The acting and production values are just not enough to off set the main issues which are the story and terrible dialog. The main character is a woman who desperately needs to keep this job or she'll lose her daughter and then spends the first 40 minutes doing things that would definitely get her fired. Sort of spoiler [spoiler] She doesn't do her rounds correctly, she lets in a homeless man, gets into a weird argument about the cameras with her partner, and finally opens a locked area that is off limits and proceeds to wander down in the dark. [/spoiler] There are cameras everywhere record all the sackable offences and yet she is completely unconcerned about losing her job. Pretty much every bad thing that happens in this movie is her fault. There are also many logic gaps in the story. Big spoilers: [spoiler] The biggest plot issue is the main plot point: an abandoned *insane asylum* is in the basement of a *luxury apartment* building (a very normal design). But don't worry about all the weird plot holes, it was a dream! So it doesn't matter! ...sure, why not. Plus, her dad seems bizarrely upset at the end given that he would have been the one to commit and abandoned his kid in the asylum. [/spoiler]
