The Taken series is the new Hangover films; there just never end.

I can't believe a movie like the first 'Taken', got squeal's that quickly turned things into a train wreck and a soulless cash grab. I remember in the first film how brutal the fight scenes were and that's due to the sound work in that movie. Every punch sounds rock hard, but then Olivier Megaton took the directors chair and I wish he haven't, because 'Taken 2' was terrible and so was this one.

Olivier Megaton should just stop directing action films. He can't do them right and the direction for action scenes felt so poorly edited. I thought he learned his lesson by now since everybody talked about how crappy the action was in the second film and his other movies with the same problem, but no, he has learnt anything.

The action in this movie is some of the worst action I've so far this year. It's the quick cut editing, so that means you can't see a damn thing when an action scene comes on. Quick cut after quick cut, it's just painful to watch. How I am I suppose to enjoy the action when most of the time I can't see it and I would blame it on the editing as well, which was just awful.

The only good thing in this movie was Liam Neeson, of course. However in this movie he's just playing the basic Liam Neeson action trope character we've all seen before. He doesn't do terrible job, but I can tell that he doesn't want to be in this, as it's all about the money to him.

Overall rating: 'Taken 3' is a poorly executed action film with zone brain shells to it.
