Superbad wasn't super bad but for me it wasn't super awesome has I thought it would be. It's definitely a very good and smart teenage film, entertaining and funny but not as funny as I thought. It has it's moments.

Jonah Hill and Michael Cera always make me laugh a lot in every film I see with both of them but in this film the times that they made me laugh were very few. The absolutely hilarious parts of the film were the ones involving McLovin and those irresponsible cops Officer Slater and Officer Michaels. Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Seth Rogen and Bill Hader were so so good! I couldn't stop laughing with those three. Their scenes are the best thing of the film.

Despite the whole unrealistic situations the film knew how to manage them well, but some of the aspects about puberty comedies were just more of the same that we are already used to see in films of this genre.

Overall, I had a great time watching it. I thought that I would give it five stars but I have to stick just with four, which is a pretty good note for a good comedy with an heartwarming touch like this one.

"Nobody has gotten a hand job in cargo shorts since 'nam!"

Never would I have thought that Superbad was a movie I should've watched years ago. Superbad is just so damn funny. It never stops being entertaining for one minute, and it has 120 of them!!!

I also held off watching Superbad because of its long running time and usually such long comedies aren't my thing but damn I was wrong here! From all these fun cameos (picture Dave Franco as a random soccer player), Emma Stone stealing every damn scene she's in, Jonah Hill dropping all those one-liners, Michael Cera being awesome at awkwardly singing a song, MCLOVIN!!!!!, Bill Hader and Seth Rogen as cops? Hell yeah! Eminem? M&M! NO MARSHALL MATHERS!! Damn that cracked me up. Van Halen, Notorious B.I.G. and Motörhead? Such a great soundtack and damn, I just loved the ending.

Superbad is one of the best comedies of the 2000's and well worth a watch. It might be a film that will go in my regular rotation. Can't believe it took me 14 years before checking this one out. I would've loved it if I just would've gone off and seen this at the cinema when it came out.

MCLOVIN!!!!!

Superbad is one of the classic comedies which left a great effect on R-RATED COMEDY genre, Greg Mottola as a film-maker became a name on the industry with this break-through. I really recommend this movie and a very forceful recommendation if you are a teenage-introvert.

Really good watch, would watch again, and can recommend.

I've watched this movie several times, but had a couple different reactions: sometimes I agree this is overhyped, other times I'm completely in line with why it was overhyped. You mood might be a factor in your movie watching, it's all I'm saying.

Overall, this is decently funny in dialogue, delivery, and writing. The movie is full of cringe humor and ridiculous circumstance, it's essentially designed so the characters have a good story to tell later on, and it definitely meets the criteria. The big problem is that it's a high school, "let's get laid adventure" starring 2 idiots and their idiot friend. I've never seen 2 guys work so hard to prevent themselves from their actual goal.

When you look a little closer too, it's really two movies wrapped around each other. "McLovin" could have been its own movie, but neither story really has enough meat too it. "These high schoolers tried to get alcohol to impress girls for this party." is the whole movie, but it's so much more fun of an experience than that.

You're not going to get a rich and fulfilling story, though they try to make it into a life lesson in a traditional "coming of age" style, but it's a pretty funny movie, if a little over the top.
