I've just watched it for the first time in 2023, and it unfortunately does not hold up. I can see how it would have worked 20 years ago, but a comedy about a bunch of bully cops continually showing their ineptitude, corruption, racism, sexism, repeated abuse of the public, brutality, misuse of public funds, and much more. The result of all of this is to put people in prison for cannabis-related crimes. You know... just like real life. I know it's a silly farce, and there are some really funny parts, but overall it just doesn't hit the same way now.
