Overview
An urban legend says that lighting fireworks at an abandoned airfield will beckon the "summer ghost," a spirit that can answer any question. Three teenagers, Tomoya, Aoi, and Ryo, each have their own reason to show up one day. When a ghost named Ayane appears, she reveals she is only visible to those "who are about to touch their death." Compelled by the ghost and her message, Tomoya begins regularly visiting the airfield to uncover the true purpose of her visits.

This was a short but very deep story with a perfect ending. A must watch anime movie of 2021.
'gt;For you death is the future, but for me death is in the past Short and sweet, just the way I like it, the short runtime doesn't mean the story is rushed, it's actually really well paced. Tackles some really deep themes, finding purpose in life and tackling death itself. The 40 minutes went by in a breeze and the characters are really good, the only takeaway I have for this short is the lack of character development. But it's not a big problem considering they develop 4 characters in the span of 40 minutes. The ending was perfect.

beautiful movie, it definitively has potential to have become a short 6-7 episodes anime, but nonetheless a wonderful movie the music was perfect and there were some very good lines; _"i'll never see the cherry blossoms again"_ _"i'd begun to lose hope that i'd ever understand why i'm even alive"_ _"why would you cling onto a world that only makes you suffer?"_
