Jokes fly as the Tune Squad takes on the Nerdlucks in a hardcourt game to decide if the Looney Tunes remain here... or become attractions at a far-off galactic off-ramp called Moron Mountain. The Nerdlucks have a monstrous secret weapon: they've stolen the skills of top NBA stars like Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing and become Monstars. But that's not all, folks. The Tune Squad’s secret weapon just happens to be the finest player in this or any other universe. He's outta this world. So's the fun.

It's not really a good movie but I do have some nostalgia for this. I'm glad I rewatched it.

[Insert basketball pun here, something like I call foul / doesn't get off the ground / missed his shot / a 3-point out of 10 movie / I hope Jordan's career can rebound / flat footed acting / nothing but net profits / the script is simply foul lines... ] If you thought you couldn't care less about basketball, watch _Space Jam_ and you'll see you could. In what may be a contender for worst live action / animation hybrid, this Michael Jordan vehicle doesn't go anywhere and does nothing but reinforce the cliché that athletes can't act.

When I was a little kid, I was a big _Looney Tunes_ fan, but, as I got older, I got more into live-action shows and cartoons from other studios, such as Hanna-Barbera's infamous _Scooby-Doo_. I'm also not too big into sports, though I do enjoy a sports movie from time to time. The production values behind this movie are amazing; blending live-action with animation can be tough, but, it's handled quite well here. I enjoyed the soundtrack, especially the now-iconic song "I Believe I Can Fly". However, this isn't as innocent as some would expect from Bugs Bunny and crew. While cartoon slapstick is to be expected from anything featuring the Looney Tunes, scary aliens, sultriness in the form of Lola Bunny, and occasional profanity is not. If you prefer your cartoons squeaky clean, maybe you should look elsewhere.

A wonderfully constructed marriage of live action and animation, probably the best since Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's a simple story of the Looney Tunes teaming up with Michael Jordan to stop the oppressive Monstars from enslaving them. The basketball scenes are great, the jokes mostly land, and Bi More

this is a movie for kids so the rewatch as an adult was a little less delightful than the nostalgia of it is. still, it's cute. i will say the number of times that r kelly's i believe i can fly played didn't age well.

also, for 1996 the way that the movie's effects were rendered was really enjoyabl More

**It was a landmark film for young people and children in the 90s, but it is currently forgotten.**

This is one of those movies that almost everyone has seen or heard about… or, at least, everyone who was children or teenager in the 90s, like me. Currently, the film is largely forgotten, and I More
