Barack Obama is the only American President that I have trusted this last few years, but this movie, while well-meaning, seems too much like a promotional tool for the man's presidency.

Southside With You is a romantic comedy about two people that become significant years down the road other than that there isn't really a lot of originality to it. Both the lead performances are good but there isn't really anything that packs a punch. I found the dialogue to go a little wild at times too.
