    Overview

A portrait of the last surviving vinyl record shop in Teesside, North East England, at a time when independent record shops were closing in the UK at a rate of one every three days. A distinctive, funny and intimate film about men, the North and the irreplaceable role music plays in our lives. High Fidelity with a Northern Accent.

    Featured Comments/Tips

Gentle documentary about an independent record store and their strange but loveable customers. Sound it Out made me feel nostalgic for a pastime that I never really took part in. Not many documentary directors have that the ability to do that, and Jeanie Finlay must be given massive credit for that.
