I like Jamie Foxx. I like action movies. I like bad cop action movies.

I didn't like this movie.

This kind of sucked all the way around. There was plenty of action, yes; in the adrenaline factor, you'll definitely get your fix. But apart from that small contribution, this really was a mess of a story. I understand the need to sometimes - especially during a good action movie - disengage your brain and just enjoy the show but this...this was not enjoyable. For one thing, it was far too convoluted and confusing - from the opening scene - to know what was going on. When they _did_ finally try to make sense of it, by that time it was just a steaming pile. Far too much of this movie was ...well, you need at _least_ a semblance of believability, even when a movie is "unbelievable", but this one was just over-the-top stupid. I'd love to say, _"I think what did it for me was..."_ but in all honesty, it was just everything together. This was a lot of silly, unbelievable mini-plots thrown into a blender, toss in a lot of casino fights, some car chases, the pervasive cop foul language, and put a Jamie Foxx on it for decoration, and voila! you have _Sleepless_. I was really hoping this would be a pleasant surprise but it's easy to see why it doesn't have a stellar rating on here, only a 5.6% (out of 10) on IMDB, and a whopping 37% audience score on RottenTomatoes.com. I have few complaints about the acting or the musical score, but the overall sum total of this film was far less than what you should've gotten from this.

I truly enjoy a great action movie, but this wasn't one. Far too muddled, confusing, and a complete lack of credibility left me very disappointed in this.
