Sharknado 2: The Second One

>*"Think of it this way, this is a twister... with teeth."* Watch out for sharks if you get on a plane! Ladies and sharktlemen, welcome to the pinnacle of so bad it's good Z-movie (because B is too high of a letter for this). ***Sharknado 2*** is an improvement over the first in the sense that they fully embrace the sillyness here. The sharks and characters do some wacko stuff, the story is absolute nonsense and the main character (and everyone else) is clearly delusional. It's non-stop nonsense entertainment from beginning to end, it knows what it is and doesn't apologize. The one-liners need some polishing but I still laughed a lot. I wouldn't want to call this creative because I don't want to be sent to an asylum but the kills and some of the crazyness is creative—ly bad. Lots of fun cameos like the Live with Kelly & Michael segment and the many weather reports are hilarious. No redeeming qualities on a technical level whatsoever, trash effects and bad acting. If such a thing as a guilty pleasure actually exists, well this is it. Also one of these movies i'd rewatch when i'm high.

Is this better than the first one? Yes. Is it still really bad? Also yes. You can really only watch these movies for their novelty. I’ll keep working my way through them all, but I don’t expect much better at this point. Rating: 0.5/5 - 35% - Hard Skip
