As I remember it, Rumble in the Bronx was my first real meeting with Jackie Chan on the big screen and began a life long fascination with this, rather "special", martial artist. So...I might be a smidgeon biased with this one. This is my first re-watch in quite a while, and Rumble in the Bronx is just how I remember it. Very stunt-driven, has cartoonish villains, a superhero good guy, a fair share of inept law enforcement, and a story that's barely holding everything together. So very typical for a Jackie Chan movie. If you like these kinds of movies, this is heaven. If you are not used to the upbeat and cartoonish world of Jackie Chan, it might throw you off a bit, but I don't think you'll have that bad a time. Anyway...I really like it, and will recommend it to anyone who asks. Oh yeah...as usual...watch the beginning of the end credits. You'll thank me.

"Don't let the situation change you. Change it." It has been awhile since I've seen Rumble in the Bronx and I'm happy to say it still holds up. Anyway I totally forgot that Billy Tung was in here for the opening scenes. Always love seeing Mr. Tung! I like him. The thugs are still a product of its time but I love it. The Game Gear working without a game in it is such a movie cliché. The pace of Rumble in the Bronx is great. It never slows down. Jackie Chan is also such an poser. The humor is totally my thing. Hovercrafts are always epic to see. The shot where Jackie Chan breaks his ankle is still brutal to watch. Can't believe he finished the movie with an casket on. The guy will always be an machine. The fights scenes are solid and I love the ending. Happy Rumble in the Bronx was his big break in the USA, he totally deserved it. Rumble in the Bronx is one of the best movies to introduce people to Jackie Chan's work before you really show them the good stuff.

**Sympathetic humor and impressive beatings in a very poorly made film, which entertains its audience.**

Although I know the actor from other movies, this was the first Jackie Chan movie I saw. He brings to life a friendly young man from Hong Kong who comes to the USA for his uncle's wedding, who More
