I love Fred Astaire and most of his movies, but unfortunately the plot of this one just wasn'#39;t quite up to par. I think the biggest issue was that I didn'#39;t feel any real chemistry with the love interests. And yet, this film also contains one of the best dance scenes ever. In this film Fred Astaire literally dances on the ceiling and its one of the most innovative dance scenes of its time. And you almost have to forgive what the rest of the movie is lacking just for the sheer brilliance of that one scene. And while it may not seem overly impressive compared to technology now-a-days, it was revolutionary for its time.
