_Une Belle Équipe_ / _Queens of the Field_ is like the aftertaste of a burp after you eat too much spaghetti bolognaise and gulp a warm Coke: it's exactly what you expect if you expect worse than you expected.

Look, there's no need for me to go too deep into this shallow outing. It's a standard underdog film though it's French so the ending is bittersweet. I laughed out loud twice and was ready to go easy on it until the third act became a shitstorm of WTF.

Also, I love feminism and and proud to do my part, but I'm becoming a little disappointed in a feminism that feels the need to tear men down, rather than simply boost women. In this film, all the men are incompetent when they're left alone, they can't prepare a meal, they can't wash a load of laundry, they can't even give their children medecine! Can we just agree to continue to uplift women in a way that it doesn't come at someone else's expense?
