Ignoring its uneven pacing, Pyewacket is a dark, angst riddled treat for horror fans with some solid scares, decent effects and a poignant finale to boot.

Did I miss something or was it obvious that her dead mom was the fake and the live one was the real mom?!? Wouldn’t you want to be sure before you set what could be your real mom on fire? Granted I was not paying super close attention the whole time so maybe I missed something… but I doubt it. I think it’s unfortunately just poor movie making.

A slow-burn horror that doesn't quite burn enough.

Before I get started let me just say that angst and anger are not the same thing. I have read so many reviews that have described the character of Leah as angst-ridden. Angst is fear or anxiety, often about the future, it is not the same thing More
