Considering it is a cheap NZ made for TV about a local political scandal, it is probably only ever going to have limited appeal

For people in Aotearoa though, this is a look at something that horrified / titillated / bemused us with some classic NZ politics. An old man campaigning based on family values at the same time as having an affair with a young woman in his office. A rival trying to entrap the same young woman. A infamous party affiliated attack blogger leaking the stories. All the established political players going into damage control leaving the naive young woman coming out worst.

But really, the movie was held together by the light hearted approach of Xana Tang playing off Richard Crouchley and Michael Hurst. It dragged at times, and surprisingly, the movie didn't really focus on what #### some of the men are, and they came out looking much better than most people think. It's nothing cerebral, but better than some, and feels like home for people who lived through it.
