Simple and decent movie that lacks the proper punch but was still entertaining overall.

_Pompo_ tells us a story about how not everything you do as a creator is special and how coming to terms with that can lead to something stronger. This is perfectly exemplified by it managing to feel still a little padded, despite the brisk and oh-so-cleverly referenced 90-minute runtime. It celebrates inspiration and passion in a sweet, almost romanticized manner, creating a light and fluffy tone that dares only to tiptoe around the deeper, darker issues that lie underneath. The production is gorgeous, using bright colours, intricate detailing, and smart transitions to constantly catch your eye, and the accompanying soundtrack is an absolute delight. While this might not be the best portrayal of crafting cinema, it's still a really fun time and just a dang good movie of its own.

Not bad overall, the plot made sense, but it needed some glue to stick together.

I loved this movie. It shows how fun movies can be. And it shows everything great, fun and hard about making movies can be. Especially before Hollywood got so corrupt and everyone was friends with Epstien. Some people still care and those people really shine bright, just not to the corrupt academy. I hope everyone else appreciates the great story and characters in this film as I did.
