Quite possibly my favourite comedy. I have seen this more than a dozen times and yet, it simply doesn'#39;t get old. Mmmm yessss well... I'#39;m going to need you to watch this ok? That'#39;d be greeeat.

There was nothing wrong with it... until I was about twelve years old and that no-talent ass clown became famous and started winning Grammys.

Overrated. Just wasn'#39;t that funny.

The first half is a 10, the second half is a 6. Amazingly ahead of its time, paving the way for the "anti-work" and "quiet quitting" movements. It came out only a month before _The Matrix_, and it's insane how similar the two films are in themes and in some cases even visually, e.g. the "cubicle ducking" scenes are shot almost identically!

So working in an office has not changed in 25 years...

'gt; THIS FILM WAS CUT ENTIRELY ON A COMPUTER I guess that was a new thing back in 1999? Still an odd statement to put in the credits, but it _is_ tonally appropriate. ---- Honestly, this movie's comedy is more like what I expected when starting _The Office_ after seeing all those memes/GIFs. If the TV show was like _Office Space_, I might actually be motivated to finish it.

This is the perfect movie to watch if you’re a little frustrated at your office job. It’s still relevant in 2022. So many memorable funny moments!

Now I know the origin of that meme.

I dint liked, so lame movie haha

I bought a red Swingline stapler because of this movie for my office

_Office Space_ is a '90s cult classic that lives up to its reputation. The film features a talented cast of relatively unknown actors who deliver exceptional performances, making it all the more enjoyable. This comedy gem provides a hilarious and accurate portrayal of cubicle work life, resonating with anyone who has experienced the mundanity and absurdity of office culture. The film cleverly satirizes the corporate world, offering a relatable and comedic take on the frustrations and monotony of the nine-to-five grind. _Office Space_ has become a beloved favorite for its quotable lines, memorable characters, and witty writing. The film's humor hits the mark with its clever observations and absurd situations, ensuring plenty of laughs throughout.

A movie that has a kind of humour very similar to the The Big Lebowski's one (movie that I like a lot), but this one appeals more to the absurd and discuss about the value of work effort or exhaustive routines... it's worrisome watching this movie knowing you will work in an area that looks like a lot with software engineer (thanks, technology evolution. Not every jokes works here, but it's an amusing movie.

Good evening sir my name Is Steve..I come from a rough area..I Used to be addicted to Crack but now I am off and trying to stay clean..That is why I am on Trakt

Ron Livingston became my hero in this movie. One of the most funny movies out there. No one sees this and doesnt die of laughter. The corporate world just right. Got that TPS report for me right now?

Well.. I expected a lot, but at least in german synchro it wasn'#39;t funny at all. I'#39;ll give it another shot in english later. //Edit: Ok OV english is great, just don'#39;t bother with the german one.

It may raise a smile but it definitely won'#39;t raise a titter.

I must have seen this movie 7 times. Always a great movie to see after you get layed off. Captures the corporate world perfectly. Makes you realize all the crap we take as white collar slaves to the man.

I suppose you have to enjoy a certain type of comedy to truly appreciate Office Space. Be open-minded when you watch it! There are so many great scenes (like taking a terrible fax/printer to an open field and beat it to death with bats etc.) and great quotes (my favorite is always going in the background of the office scenes: "Corporate account receivables, Nina speaking, just a moment." and she just repeats it over and over. A stellar cast tops it all off. No idea how they made it for $10m. Ron Livingston is superb in his 'I just don't give a shit about work anymore' attitude. Jennifer Anniston is just a quirky waitress that works nearby. Ron's attitude is definitely rubbing off on her. Gary Cole plays the stereotypical boss. Stephen Root plays the office hermit who ultimately.. well, you will have to watch it!

<em>'Office Space'</em> is great! The first chunk of the movie really is just like the <em>'The Office'</em>; this walked so that could run etc. Amusing to see the printer scene in its natural habitat, I've seen it out of context and parodied (<em>'Family Guy'</em>, obviously) a few times but evidently had never seen it in the film it originates from. The cast are terrific. This is the first time I've seen Ron Livingston act, aside from a few minor showings in four other movies, and he's very good - surprised I hadn't previously seen him in a lead role or knew of his name up until now. Nice to see Jennifer Aniston appear, while Stephen Root and Gary Cole are amusing. Credit to the others too, e.g. David Herman and Richard Riehle.
