Like an old map, _Noura'#39;s Dream_ doesn'#39;t cover any new ground but the territory it goes over is of prime importance and can never be explored enough. _Noura rêve_ / _Noura'#39;s Dream_ is another film about the difficulty women face in Maghreb (Tunisia in this case), and bears a passing resemblance to last October'#39;s _Papicha_. The film, however, is closer to its Tunisian sister, 2018'#39;s sublime horror film _Beauty and the Dogs_. We'#39;ve heard this message before but we need to keep hearing it until the situation is easier for the women of North Africa. At least _Noura'#39;s Dream_, a tight film with strong performances and potent directing, passes this message with style.
