No Retreat, No Surrender has some of the worst acting, and one of the most incoherent stories, ever filmed. Yet, and I'm not ashamed to say this, I kind of love this film. There's, of course, a lot of nostalgia talking here. I loved this as a kid, and didn't really notice how big of a mess it really is back then. Now... I don't really care. As with most films you were obsessed with as a kid, it's hard not to remember all the good times you had while watching it, even though you could hardly see the image as the VHS you had was a copy of a copy of a copy.

No matter how you look at it, No Retreat, No Surrender is BAD. I happen to think it has a place in the "so bad, it's good" category, but if you are coming into this without having any memories attached to it, I suspect many of you will hate it. Consider yourself warned.
