I really loved this movie, it keeps emotionally invested. And I loved the final idea, that actually there's no real certainty that our life has any more sense and purpose than of the clones. So make youself useful. That's the vibe I got from it and it's not that depressinb if you ask me. Motivating actually.

I love the pacing and the overall mood of the film, which is very calming and well built. The story is filled with little details. The use of colors is astonishing, and the children are amazing actors. It definetly touched me.

The story of this film could perfectly been set in the future, yet is passed between the 70's and the 90's where science discovered a way to extend human life creating clones to donate organs. The children are raised in an outside world where they almost have no contact with real life. Three of those children, as already teenagers live a love triangle and at the same time they struggle against the idea that they will not live longer.
It's depressing, sad and heartbreaking with a musical score perfect for the ambience of the film. Visually it's beautiful.
Good acting by Andrew Garfield, Keira Knightley but especially from Carey Mulligan. Even when she is not talking just the look on her eyes is perfect for what the film tries to transmit.
This is one of those films that leaves you depressed after watching it. It's deep. I guess the lesson to take from this film is that life is short and we have to know how to cherish every moment of it.

Such "The Island" only more melodramatic and without fast-paced action. ;)

Not bad at all, but not very original. I feel like it's a very nineties pre millennial shift angsty dystopic scifi that I've already seen. Worth watching though. Accept the slow pace and alt history and it does pretty well.

A romance that is filled with sadness throughout. A drama that keeps you hooked to the very end.

Sad and weird movie but mostly sad..I liked a lot the acting perfomances but i really didn't like directing and editing.I think it could be way better..Don't watch it if you are in a bad mood. 6.4/10

Is our destiny predetermined? Τhat's the main question of the movie.

Interesting concept. Asks a difficult question. This is done way different and much more subtly than Michael Bay's The Island. Some good acting makes this a decent watch.

Never Let Me Go is a poignant and philosophical reflection of an alternate world where some children are raised to give away their life for humankind. For such a dramatic story on paper, the movie is almost void of any drama. Its measured pacing and faint focus of anything other than the three leads certainly bisects its viewers. This inertness embraces some and keeps others at an arm's length from fully immersing in the emotion. Sadly, I am part of the latter.

Even then the movie is beautifully shot, well-acted, and deserves merit for an aching experience that keeps chipping away your heart.
