i thought this was a romcom and now i'm crying
someone better pay for my therapy, because I came here to have fun, not to cry my eyes out.

Horrible acting. Horrible writing. No chemistry. Corny, over the top, over dramatic, cliche. I swear some of the scenes in the end are AI-generated...(was that on purpose?). Not believable, not relatable. Cheesy and boring and so fricking slow and unecessarily long. The best thing about this movie is that the guy is hot, the only thing that kept me watching. Which is why I feel okay giving it a 3/10 instead of like a 2/10. I'm fine with the concept of a simple story and even a cliche one at that, if its told in a earnest, believable way with dialogue and acting that feels genuine and realistic (at least to some extent). And this was not that.

I’m not crying, you’re crying 😭

I was waiting very impatiently to watch this movie. I dont want to give any spoilers. It is not what you expect. Though the theme has been common in other movies. My Oxford Year is about choices we make constantly and consciously about what kind of life we want to live. Have a plan and stick with it no matter what...or take chances...get hurt...suck the meadow out of life like Thoreau put it. For me it was a gut punch. Its a worthy watch even though I would have liked to be more prepared. But maybe I really shouldn't be. Life is about a series of moments....not your 401k or the great management position. Or anyway...these are also noble pursuits but dont loose your life dont waste it without really tasting living.....a good movie all in all

Sorry but this is bullshit

Not bad, not great. It's just alright I guess. The movie and the book have big differences is not based on is inspired by. Really wanted to believe the romance but there wasn't chemistry between the protagonists for me. But the places where it was film are gorgeous.

It was good and I loved both actors but I did not sign up for a tear jerker and they should not have marketed this movie as a romantic comedy! Sometimes you need a pick me up and I was looking to watch a fun, cute romantic comedy and THIS was NOT that! Don’t watch this if you’re already down.

The worst acting I think I've ever seen. I don't know how Sofia Carson keeps getting these roles because she has zero acting talent. Beautiful filming locations but unfortunately that's the only good thing I can say about this movie.

did you at least clean the knife before stabbing me?

It’s basically a remake of Me Before You with a few changes.
