My Bloody Valentine is one of my favourite slashers of all time. Loads of great kills, with killer (pun intended) practical effects, and one of the all-time bad-guy costumes. This is a must-see for slasher fans, and there's actually no excuse not to when you can get the fabulous release from Shout Factory on Blu-ray.

This movie was terrible..I was only able to watch about an hour, and was bored me out. I found it dull and completely uninteresting.

Canadian's sure knew how to make slashers in the early days of the genre. Genre classics such as this, Prom Night as well as Black Chrostmas to name a few. MBV is of the best slashers of all time. For 81 this had better kills than any other slasher I can think of. The director's cut version was especially brutal, if this version had come out in 81 it would have made Friday seem a lot more tame.
