Amazing movie. Please watch this if you read this.
All-American is right! This true-life drama should be more inspirational than it actually is, but it comes across as pure cornball - think of it like a feature-length movie of The Waltons, only with more American Football. Fans of the sport will probably rate it higher, but for me it failed to score a touchdown. Tries to put the audience through an emotional wringer, but the corniness works against it.
