A platonic love with a tragic outcome.
I first came across this film while reviewing Ebert'#39;s list of best movies. It is billed as a combination of a creepy guy spying on a younger woman coupled with a murder mystery. While at times these themes are certainly prevalent the real theme of the film doesn'#39;t develop until the last third of the movie (although the signs are certainly there if you pay attention).
