I would describe this movie as Bridesmaids for people who like their humor rather bland. This movie is one of the movies that just strings one situational piece of comedy after another, and all of them are very safe. And the cliches.... they are everywhere. It also reminded me of movies like Office Space, where good portrayals of certain professions (or in this case, gender roles) are mistaken for good storytelling. Not a spectacular movie by any stretch of the imagination but like all movies of this kiln I love the takeaways:The golden reminders at the end about the realities of life, love and family that help you to remember not to sweat the small stuff.....instead just appreciate them. Those small imperfections enrich our lives and teach us lessons and help us grow as a person while reminding us that we are not nor will we ever be perfect but we do our best and leave the rest.
