This film is guilty of gross misconduct in breaching the laws of logic and wasting the talent of good actors.

Spoilers

The movie is best described as one with a convoluted plot of little interest. Who killed the ex-wife of the protagonist? Why are they trying to frame him for it? And what does this really have to do with the defective pharmaceuticals that are killing so many people? The movie is supposed to answer these questions --- in addition to providing Anthony-Hopkins-level entertainment. By the end of the movie, most viewers will neither know nor care about the answers to these questions. This is one of the weakest movies in which Anthony Hopkins appears.

Misconduct is a missed opportunity, its potential sapped by a tangled plot and underdeveloped characters. Yet, for fans of Pacino and Hopkins, their performances provide fleeting moments of intrigue. Recommended cautiously to devotees of legal thrillers willing to overlook flaws for a glimpse of two acting titans in modest form.

I don'#39;t understand. This was WAY TOO STUPID! In the final third of a movie, a maniac is racing around on a motorcycle. For no reason in the world, the main character decides to chase him. In the next scene, the maniac has the guy tied up along with the guy'#39;s wife. There is no reason in the world for guy to have chased the motorcycle, so anything that comes from this can not possibly relate to the ongoing plot of the movie. But in the next scene it turns into a whole larger scheme that is supposed to wrap up the movie. It has nothing to do with the movie that came before. The writers are trying to be suspenseful and have a twist ending, but they are doing it wrong. They just make up a whole bunch of extra facts that have never been discussed before and show a whole bunch of flashbacks that go against everything you have seen, and then fade to black. That is not how suspense works!
